1   Identify Unresolved Orders

OrderSentry utilizes fields within the EHR order table and creates customizable queries that can identify: 

• Orders placed but not scheduled
• Orders placed and scheduled but not resulted
• Orders placed, scheduled, and resulted but where patient has not been notified of the result

1   Create Tasks for Follow Up

OrderSentry sends workflow tasks to EHR workflow groups or users indicating orders that require attention. Tasks are automatically associated with the patient and encounter that generated the order and there are options to append additional information about the order to the task description.
